It was a privilege to see the results of our Excalibur H2020 project presented at the 4th International Symposium on Organic Fruit and 2nd International Symposium on Organic Vegetables (OrgHort 2024) in Warsaw. With the participation of organisations such as INHORT, UCPH, RINOVA and INTERMAG, and a poster presentation by entities such as UNITO and CREA, EXCALIBUR made an outstanding contribution to the success of the event, held on 17-20 September 2024 under the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS).
During the symposium, the main achievements of EXCALIBUR were shared, including a special session with five exhibitions and multiple interventions in sections on plant protection, soil management and a poster session.
Dissemination of results was broadened by the incorporation of plant protection sessions at the conference ‘Harvesting the Future: Embracing the Synergy of Integrated Pest Management, Crop Technology, and Organic Solutions in Soft and Stone Fruit Cultivation,’ organised by the International Organization for Biological Control (IOBC), which enriched the experience of more than 120 attendees.
