Excalibur Project will be Present at Orghort 2024

The ISHS IV International Organic Fruit Symposium and II Organic Vegetable Symposium (OrgHort 2024) will be held in Warsaw (Poland) on 17-20 September 2024, kindly organized by the National Institute of Horticultural Research (INHORT).

A dedicated session to EXCALIBUR project will take place on Thursday 19 September at 9:30, with relevant talks by Stefano Mocali, Gaia Bigiotti and Corrado Costa (CREA), Sylvie Masquelier (INOCULUMplus), and Xiangmin Xu (NIAB) on hot topics in soil and biostimulants such as Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF), microarthropods, biostimulants in strawberry crops, and Decision Support Systems (DSS) for soil management, followed by a discussion with all the attendees.

OrgHort 2024 is expected to address the main challenges facing organic horticulture, both in production systems and new challenges arising from regulations and market demands for organic food and its value chains. The conference will allow different stakeholders from around the world to exchange knowledge and experiences, which will help establish collaborative networks and open new opportunities for future projects and developments in the sector.

This event will become a forum to discuss holistic solutions ranging from environmental, climate and biodiversity best practices, to the resilience and sustainability of the organic horticultural crop and food production chain. With these efforts, OrgHort 2024 promises to be a key venue for driving innovation and progress in organic horticulture.
