Forum for the Future of Agriculture is annual event gathering farmers, producers, government and citizens with the aim of discussing agricultural practices that both protect the environment and result in nutritious food.
The first forum was organized in 2008 by the founding partners The European Landowners’ Organization and Syngenta. Since then other organizations has joined the mission: The Nature Conservancy, WWF, Cargill, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Thought For Food, Rabobank.
This year event will be held on 31st March in Brussels. Among the speakers are António Guterres (the ninth Secretary-General of the United Nations), Dr Agnes Kalibata (President, AGRA and UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for the 2021 Food Systems Summit), Ted McKinney (Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs, United States Department of Agriculture), Dr Bruce Campbell (Director, CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security). The main FFA is accompanied by regional conferences across Europe.
