The new ‘farm to fork’ strategy – the key to sustainable food

The European Union “Farm to Fork” strategy for sustainable food is a key component of the European Green Deal. It aims to ensure sustainable high-quality food products, but as well competitive internal market. The strategy will strengthen the global efforts in environment protection and climate change, and it will contribute in achieving a circular economy.

This strategy includes both regulatory and non-regulatory measures. And, in order to meet the public’s expectations, the European Commission has prepared a road map opened for feedback for 4 weeks.
